No one is born poor, neither anyone is born rich. Nobody was born with a three piece suit and a pair of shoes on. Everybody came to this world stark naked. Nobody carried a purse or a cheque book when he was born. People arrived here to become whatever they choose to be.
As human being who wants to be successfull in life, laziness and procrastination are two characteristics to avoid. Laziness is sinful and can grow into a crew of hopelessness towards individual achievement.
People love feeling lazy because of the immense pleasure they get from laying around and doing nothing. Little do they know laziness has its bad qualities. It can lead to poverty. According to the book of Proverb 19 : 15 "Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger".
One of the many great things about the Bible is that It is a very practical book as well as a spiritual book meant to draw people closer to God. People who follow the advice of the Bible and gain wisdom from it will not only keep themselves out of trouble, but also give themselves the opportunity to be wealthy, prestigious, influential etc. When laziness is mentioned in the Bible, it is often followed by some negative consequences.
Laziness has negative effects on a person's personal and professional life. Laziness therefore has direct consequences on ones financial situation. Proverb 10 : 4 says "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverb 13 : 4 "The soul of the lazy man desires, and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich".
The lazy man desires what hard working want : house, fine cars, vacations, money for college etc. But the lazy man's desire remain unsatisfied while the hard working people gain wealth. Social insect like the Termites are the example to emulate and adopt their life style. According to proverb 6 : 6 to 11 which says " you lazy people can learn by watching anthill 🐜 Ants don't have leaders but they store up food during harvest season. How long will you lie there doing nothing at all? when are you going to get up and stop sleeping?. Sleep a little. Doze a little, fold your hands and twiddle your thumbs. So shall thy poverty come and suddenly is gone as though it had been taken by an armed robber. "Success is not a result of the will to win. Everyone has that. Great success comes as a result of the willingness to prepare to win". The only real measure of how high you can fly and how far you can go is contained in the question, " How badly do you want it?". If you want to achieve a particular level of success, and you are willing to work at it long enough, there is nothing that can stop you. You must and you will eventually accomplish it. Every great success is the result of hundreds and perhaps thousands of hours of painstaking effort, preparation,study etc that very few people are even aware of. When you completely trust the principle of HARD WORK, it will work for you. And the longer you have to work to reach the heights, the greater will be the rewards when they finally come. May God Almighty crown all your efforts with great success. AMEN
